ORIGin
Phil Simeon started NF Hockey also known as Northern Freeze in 2001. After spending many years working in camps across North America, including Minnesota, California, Massachusetts, Illinois, Wisconsin, PEI, and of course Toronto, Phil wanted to establish a hockey camp that reflected his personal experience and training philosophy.
The first camps took place in Eagle River, Wisconsin. A hockey hotbed in America's mid-west. Since that time NF Hockey camps have taken place in Illinois, Toronto, Oakville, and Burlington. NF Hockey will be celebrating its 5th year in Oakville in 2015.
Philosophy
As you navigate through the site you will see that healthy player development is at the core of our training philosophy. Players attending our programs have a fulsome experience. After spending time with our team kids leave our training and camps with improved skills and fitness, confidence and self awareness. That often translates into improved performance in practices and games.
